Dear Friends,
My novel THE HITCH will be published on January 13, but if you are willing to waste one minute and eighteen seconds of your life and watch the video above, you will see the book has already been made. It’s such a beautiful object! When I showed the book to my husband, I permitted myself to explain twelve things that are FABULOUS about its design. Since we’re not married, I’ll spare you the lecture, and say: I hope you pick up a copy and discover the craftsmanship on your own.
Publishers Weekly profiled me this week and the article is headlined, “Sara Levine’s Got Jokes.” I talked to the journalist for an hour over Zoom, and I think the piece does a good job of framing THE HITCH. However, the second paragraph begins:
Levine, 54, is dressed in a crisp white button-up, her wavy gray hair framing her bespectacled face.
And I have to say, that’s inaccurate. I am 54 and still don’t know how to use an iron. There was nothing crisp about that shirt.
Finally, I wanted to let you know I’m going to be in a few places to celebrate the book.
